Terry Boboige
President
Since the creation of Perry Johnson Registrars Food Safety, Inc. in 2012, Terry Boboige has been considered an industry leader in the food safety arena. He has been instrumental in the growth and expansion of PJRFSI’s scope of accreditation and certification, with hundreds of clients from all facets of the food industry around the globe. Before helping to build PJRFSI, Mr. Boboige began his nearly 30-year career with a B.S. in Business Administration and an MBA before working in quality management with Fortune 500 companies such as Ford Motor Company and 3M. He worked his way up through the company ladder, which gave him an appreciation for investing in the best possible human resources, something reflected today in the quality of PJRFSI staff. Throughout his career, Mr. Boboige has developed a diverse background of experience in everything from laboratory testing and accreditation to quality management and environmental health and safety. He looks to the future not only with certification and quality in mind, but education as well, advocating for the expansion of resources offered by the company for both current and prospective clients.
Lauren Maloney
Food Safety Program Accreditation Manager
With over 12 years of experience in the field of sustainable agriculture and food production, Lauren’s background in both production and management are of great benefit to her role as Food Safety Program Accreditation Manager. She manages the GFSI benchmarked schemes: SQF, BRCGS, FSSC 22000, and GLOBALG.A.P., as well as the compliance programs requirements and accreditation. She also has 8 years of auditing experience with PJRFSI in QMS, GLOBALGAP, HACCP/GMP and Hemp. In addition to agriculture and food production, Ms. Maloney holds her M.S. in Conservation Biology, her diverse skills and knowledge base are a benefit to the food safety program.
Brett McMillen
Hemp Division Manager
With over 10 years of experience in the Quality and Regulatory business with the Perry Johnson Family of Companies, Brett has assisted in the development of their and Hemp Accreditation and Certification program. His contributions to the development of their GMP, GAP, Organic, and other Hemp programs have been instrumental given his range of experience witnessing manufacture of products from a wide range of industry areas.
Rachel Winter
Organic Program Manager
Rachel Winter hails from Mansfield, Ohio, and graduated in 2016 with a Food Science & Technology Degree from The Ohio State University. She started her career in Product Development before transitioning to a Quality Manager role, where she first was introduced to Organic programs. Rachel is married with two dogs and two cats, and enjoys hiking, baking, and traveling.
Joel Verke
Commercial Business Manager, Americas
Joel Verke comes to PJRFSI with over a decade of sales, project management, and operations experience. After graduating from the Brown Institute of Radio Broadcasting and earning an Associate’s Degree from the University of South Dakota, Joel spent 17 years on the air in radio broadcasting, 10 years in commercial voice-overs and production, and another six years in minor-league hockey partnerships.
Chris Reno
Commercial Business Manager, Americas
Chris Reno joins the PJRFSI team with 20 years of experience in the food/beverage and hospitality industries. Based out of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Chris holds a bachelors degree from the University of Arkansas and is a board member of the Arkansas Association of Food Protection as well as a committee member for the Standards Council of Canada. In his free time, he is an avid fly fisherman.
Crystal Reardon
Strategic Account Manager
Crystal Reardon joins PJRFSI as our new Strategic Account Manager after having worked for 15 years with PJR’s Scheduling Department. Crystal holds a BFA from Eastern Michigan University and enjoys spending time camping with her husband of 10 years and their sons, aged 8 and 5, as well as crafting and watching her favorite shows.
Heather Kyle
Food Safety Sales Coordinator
Heather Kyle joined PJRFSI in November 2018 after serving as a receptionist with PJR. In her role, she helps manage our GFSI-benchmarked schemes—SQF, BRCGS, FSSC 22000, and GLOBALG.A.P.—along with overseeing compliance program requirements and accreditation. Outside of work, Heather enjoys camping, spending time with her husband (an RN) and their two children, and caring for their two dogs.
Azrin Miah
Food Safety Audit Program Coordinator
Azrin earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Wayne State University. She brings valuable hands-on experience in human resources, with a strong background in recruitment, talent acquisition, and employee relations.
Evan Richman
Food Safety Program Coordinator
Please join us in welcoming Evan Richman to the Perry Johnson team as our new Food Safety Program Assistant. Evan brings a unique background, recently transitioning from the mortgage industry.

PJRFSI auditors are located throughout the United States with backgrounds as diverse as the States in which they reside. We pride ourselves on the combined experience that our auditing staff brings to the food safety program. Highly qualified they show loyalty and passion for this industry by having worked at regulatory bodies like the USDA or nationally recognized food production facilities for multiple years.
